I haven't updated my live journal much becuase....I haven't done much or changed much worth writing about. It's funny as I get older, I seem to be reliving earlier parts of my life. but with out the whole growing up part.

Whats with everyone being sick? Well I guess all my friends are smokers with a unhealthy predisposition for lazyness. Which causing an increase in fast food intake and a decrease in exercise, makes them easy pray for my little 12 legged friends.

Seriously though. I could say so much. But it would mean so little now.

Am I the only one who has this syndrome?

updates....
Last night I went to a flower mound high school party...carl knocked over a jungle gym...
then i sprayed him in the face with a water bottle and he attacked chris and i with a fire extintisher...then we ran.
before that jamie and mat and i played bongos and guitar

then i got a new job transporting cars from the dealership to the auto shop for custimizations...like sunroofs tints and dvd players. Thats cool. Thanks heather and her mom.

Scott and i were recording that song but we haven't done anything for awhile. I am bummed because yohan has left denton, and i didn't get to show it to him.

I played at andys on tuesday..got way to drunk. Started picking fights with the microphone and chris. It was fun though.

I've been thinking about the destruction and renovation of fry street. Between "progress" and "stagnation". I am all for progress...but it seems to me that our society seems to be very...disposable. Like plano...is all a bunch of "progress"..but it's not designed to last 100 years or even 50...cars designed to break after 200,000 miles or 5 years...cellphones last like 6 months... Tearing down fry street to build a starbucks and a gap would not be for progress. It would be for profit. It would be exchanging a historical area with a unique cultural group for a homengized bland corprate overture.
But thats the thing..no one recongnizes fry street for it's historical signifigance because the 60's lost. The hippies never got rich, came into power, and wrote the history books. If anything denton wants to remove the "blight" of the landmark.
But I say economicly that is a mistake. Denton is only on the map becuase of TWU and UNT. They make up over half the population. To replace fry street with a bunch of yuppie shit would raise the property values in the area, causing bars like lucky lous and the inferno to go under. If that happened there would be no more night life. No night life leads to drop of enrollment because lets face it TWU and UNT don't got much else going for them. With out a steady influx of college students dentons nice new million dollar librarys, waterpark, and historical square would never had been paid for.
Also the city should note the obscence amount of money they make of liquer taxes at the bars.

YEAH!

Don't you want to go swimming? Oh but you can't the water in the pool hasn't wamred up. So cruel are you physics. Maybe I can just jump in for a little swim.....
When I was younger during the summer I stayed with my father in sunny southern california. The father you go up the moutains away from the ocean the drier it becomes. The brown slopes grab the water like a thirsty man, and by the time you get to the big valleys 50 miles in it is just a desert plain. Thats palmdale..ironicly named. Should be "colorado river thiefs".

Their is an aquaduct that flows from that river all the way in to burbank. You can follow it with your eyes from the plane flying in from dallas. I always wanted to jet ski in it. Somebody crashed their car in it once.

In the shadow of castac lake, which is in the shadow of the red tower from six flags 10 some miles away, and in the shadow of the san gabrial moutains which surrond castac, santa clarita, valencia, and newhall. That wasn't a complete sentence but you get the idea. In the shadow of that massive mighty dammm, that towering conrete monster so thick and tall that the concrete in the middle will take 500 years to dry, in 450 years.

I would always stare up at as we swam in the oasis that was the lower lake. The water that seeped through rock made a un-natrual park. All green more like the moutains of the seira nevada range. There was beach and people would come and swim on the hot sunny weekends. On the 4th of july the people of castac would come to watch the fireworks.

In his red '76 mustang

my dad would take my brother and cousin up there for life gaurd camp. Which is kinda like fat kids camp except not as fun. It was fun though. I was a water dolphin. word up pimped out strong swimmer. We had these paddle boards, which are a lot like kick boards but more like surfboards. Smoothed and waxed, with out the resistance of water, and using exercised arms you could go miles at a good rate. But that was when we were having play time. The day started with a mile run, and then a swim across the the lower lake. Then another run back around the lake. Yeah I was out of shape then...but i'm still out of shape now.

If I didn't run the life guards wouldn't yell...but they are athourity figures...kinda ironic..."Don't run around the pool!"..."ok but run around that lake!". The main life guard was cool. To cool. One time he made me bring in a buyoe because I didn't know he was talking to me. Oh yeah sunglasses are really cool. He could do a hundred pushups. Even with his arm that had been torn up and caught in a rope while he was water skiing.

At lunch, before the canoe races, I'd stand out on the docks and feed the fishes with bread. I'd stare at damm. And think of the earth quake i felt last night. If you broke....The water would rush down the valleys. I'd get a put option several orange juice companys...down the valley in valencia. If I lived. I'd go under water...and get beneath the dock. That's what I'd do. The debris would'nt kill...but lack of o2 would. Maybe.

So we'd run, we'd paddle, we'd swim, we'd run, we'd eat, we'd exercise, we'd practice CPR. Oh did I mention that the filmed power rangers in Santa clarita. All those cheasy fight scenes with the rubber monsters and the pink and yellow and black rangers in their spandex customs. Some times we didn't have to run because our route was on that beach they always used. I thought of ways to get me in the show. I tried to act scared and confused, and then when the won I'd cheer. Then they yelled at us. and no those weren't the REAL power rangers...just stunt doubles with poorly dubbed voices.

my mom says I'm getting bronchitis from the wild fires. I dunnu it's more like a lingering non-threating sickness that could potentially kill me. But then i'm a fan of theatrics.
So I ate jalepenos and garlic, and drank lots of tomato and Orange juice.
The new harry potter was allright. It was a little confusing, but retained emotional impact. The whole 'sex' thing is gonna get funny. Although i hear the next movie/book is uber-depressing.

yah for aim conversations you feel the need to have but are pointless.

Everyone put in a good word to Maddy for me. She is hard to hang out with and maybe just maybe if i'm lucky she'll hang out with me tonight!!
